About the role

  • Taking full ownership over our organisational security
  • Working closely in partnership with IT and Engineering teams to ensure we have a strong security posture and culture across the company
  • Providing clear, data-driven answers to the leadership team regarding our current security status and areas for improvement
  • Designing and implementing pragmatic security policies that protect the business while allowing our teams to remain fast and flexible
  • Managing the documentation and communication of our security standards to clients, including completing security assessments and compliance
  • Acting as Data Protection Officer for the group
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating new threat vectors emerging from AI technologies

Requirements

  • You have a proven track record in a security role, ideally within a high-growth, start-up or scale-up
  • You have personally led a company through the audit and maintenance processes for ISO27001
  • You are comfortable working across both application security and infrastructure
  • Deep understanding of data protection laws and policies
