About the role
- Oversee all business functions that support a multi-building data center campus
- Assist in planning and administration of facility OPEX and CAPEX budgets in coordination with finance and operations teams
- Support Finance regarding invoice verification, purchase orders, remote hand and utility charges
- Support Campus director with administration of compliance and regulatory programs
- Collaborate with Procurement for vendor submissions, purchase orders, service agreements, and Certifications of Insurance
- Facilitate property management oversight including housekeeping, landscaping and site maintenance services
- Implement business and operational standards to ensure compliance with SDC policies and procedures
- Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance across the campus with Operations team
- Manage spare parts and consumables inventory with site teams, procurement, and vendors
- Support internal and external audits and onboarding/training of technicians
- Develop cross-functional relationships and reports for campus budgets, vendor management, and organizational health
- Support construction and project activities including asset collection and documentation management
- Oversee the CMMS to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of KPIs for maintenance and operational efficiency
- Maintain local SharePoint and support development/validation of Monthly Business Reports
- Provide occasional after-hours escalation and maintenance support; occasional travel
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in an industry that includes operations & maintenance
- Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Method of Procedures (MOPs)
- Experience working with enterprise asset management and maintenance management software
- Experience collaborating and influencing teams to execute coordinated plans and activities
- Experience working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment
- Proficient with computer systems including documents, spreadsheets, and email
- Familiarity with OPEX/CAPEX budgeting process
- Experience overseeing management of third-party contracts and resources for maintenance and operations
- Project management skills
- Experience supporting compliance and regulatory programs
- PMP certification or similar (preferred)
- 3+ years’ experience in a critical operations environment (preferred)
- Experience scheduling and planning maintenance for large-scale, complex systems (preferred)
- Six Sigma certification (preferred)
