About the role
- Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and source top talent for data center operations, facilities, IT, and administrative roles.
- Assist with the full-cycle recruitment process, including screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating background checks.
- Support onboarding programs to ensure new employees integrate smoothly into the organization.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in accordance with company and legal standards.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies, particularly in highly regulated data center environments.
- Assist in audits and reporting related to HR metrics, safety compliance, and labor laws.
- Support Talent Management in performance review cycles, including goal setting, evaluations, and performance improvement plans.
- Input changes and helps maintain the integrity of HRIS system.
- Act as a point of contact to address HR related questions from staff and management.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, questions, and issue resolution.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to translate HR metrics into actionable insights
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR programs.
- Assist in resolving employee concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Support initiatives that promote employee engagement, retention, and a healthy workplace culture.
- Participate in and support HR initiatives such as training programs, wellness activities, DEI initiatives, and employee engagement events.
- Assist in maintaining and improving HR processes and workflows.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Multi state HR experience preferably in at least one of the following California, New York, Illinois.
- Experience working for an organization that has a mix of exempt and nonexempt population.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a high degree of autonomy.
- HR business acumen – ability to diagnose problems and identify and drive appropriate solutions
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
