About the role
- Collaborate closely with data center managers and other stakeholders to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and team dynamics.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the data center, such as technicians, engineers, and administrative staff.
- Source potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and direct outreach.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and alignment with company values.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, both virtual and in-person, between candidates and hiring managers.
- Manage candidate pipelines and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings as needed for selected candidates.
- Negotiate offers and terms of employment with candidates, ensuring competitive compensation and a positive candidate experience.
- Provide regular updates to hiring managers on the status of open positions and candidate progress.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitive hiring practices, adjusting strategies as needed to attract top talent.
- Participate in job fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to promote the company's brand and attract potential candidates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably with a focus on technical roles within data centers or IT environments.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including sourcing, interviewing, and assessing candidates.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
