About the role
- Optimize and strengthen the company’s financial planning and control, ensuring business sustainability and scalability.
- Coordinate and supervise all administration, finance, and control functions, managing both internal teams and external consultants.
- Develop and maintain forecasting models and P&L analyses for individual projects and IPs.
- Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements and ensure the correct application of IFRS principles, analyzing profitability by project or IP.
- Oversee cash flow management in project-based context, with milestone-driven revenues or multiple income streams (publishing, licensing, co-development, work-for-hire).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors and financial partners.
- Support leadership in investment decisions, M&A activities, and strategic development initiatives.
- Supervise access to and management of tax incentives and tax credit related to culture, media, and research.
- Ensure clear, timely, and accurate reporting to investors and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with department heads to provide financial visibility across projects and guide data-driven operational decisions.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in senior roles within administration, finance, and control.
- Background in tech, software-driven, or media/digital entertainment industries with project-based business models.
- Experience in M&A, fundraising, and managing relationships with investment funds.
- Knowledge of IP project financing, tax credits, capitalization of development costs, and deferred revenues.
- Advanced expertise in management accounting, consolidated statements, and IFRS.
- Excellent command of ERP systems, Power BI, advanced Excel, and financial analytics platforms.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to interact effectively with international partners.
