About the role

  • Lead the testing effort for complex features.
  • Maintain and scale our automation frameworks.
  • Perform technical 'deep dives' into infrastructure components.
  • Drive quality within 2-week sprints.
  • Own and troubleshoot the automated quality gates within GitLab CI and Jenkins.
  • Support and guide Associate-level engineers.
  • Thoroughly document, track, and verify bugs in Jira.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience/bootcamp).
  • Able to evidence experience in a Supervisory or Team Lead capacity.
  • Expert knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes (Agile/Scrum preferred).
  • Extensive experience writing clear, concise test plans and cases, with a strong preference for Xray for Jira.
  • Solid experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium or Playwright) and relevant programming languages (Python or Java).
  • Good foundational knowledge of operating systems, virtualization (KVM/ESXi), storage, and networking.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to modify test procedures to catch complex infrastructure defects.
  • 5+ years of experience in QA Automation or a related Quality Engineering role.
  • Experience using AI-augmented coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or LLMs) as a productivity accelerator (preferred).
