About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead delivery of senior events across SHGH, end-to-end, from concept and programme design through to run-of-show and follow-up.
Manage venue, AV, programme, briefings, run-of-show and chair experience, working with Innovation Arts on session design.
Design, invitation strategy, briefings and follow-ups across political dinners, member dinners, founder and investor convenings.
Longer term potential to contribute to building our events capability, helping us develop a stronger and more strategic events offer over the engagement.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Five or more years of senior events experience.
Background running events at organisations including (but not limited to) think tanks, policy institutions, businesses, start-ups, trade associations, VCs, start-up communities, and accelerators is particularly relevant.
Comfortable running events for senior audiences, including senior business leaders, parliamentarians, founders, investors and regulators.
Track record of creative design-led events.
Strong project management discipline combined with an instinct for what makes content land in a room.
Proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, able to step into a moving programme and bring it to a higher standard.
Discreet and politically astute
