About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsibility for the ongoing financial accounting of the companies in Germany and Austria
Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
Participation in group reporting and coordination with international finance teams
Analysis of variances, forecasting and further development of the reporting system
Management and optimization of operational finance processes (accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow)
Collaboration with tax advisors, senior management and other internal stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with regulatory and tax requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Vocational training or degree in Finance, Accounting or Tax
Further qualification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (certified balance sheet accountant), Steuerfachwirt (tax specialist) or equivalent is a plus
Several years of experience in financial accounting and preparing financial statements under HGB
Initial experience in a group corporate environment or IFRS reporting
Excellent knowledge of financial software, ideally DATEV
Structured, responsible working style and clear communication skills
