About the role

  • Responsible for the ongoing financial accounting for the entities in Germany and Austria
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
  • Participation in group reporting and coordination with international finance teams
  • Analysis of variances and forecasts, and further development of the reporting system
  • Management and optimization of operational finance processes (accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow)
  • Collaboration with tax advisors, executive management and other internal stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and tax requirements

Requirements

  • Vocational training or degree in finance, accounting or taxation
  • Further professional qualification such as Bilanzbuchhalter or Steuerfachwirt (or equivalent) is an advantage
  • Several years of experience in financial accounting and preparation of financial statements under HGB
  • Initial experience in a group environment or in IFRS reporting
  • Strong knowledge of financial software, ideally DATEV
  • Structured, responsible working style and clear communication skills
