About the role
- In three years you will learn everything you need for the role of an OTA — theory and practice alternate regularly.
- Practical training takes place at Krankenhaus Nordwest or the Hospital zum Heiligen Geist; theoretical lessons are provided at the OTA school of Klinikum Frankfurt Höchst (Varisano).
- You are right in the centre: assisting in surgeries and caring for patients.
- You will also gain additional insights into nursing, diagnostic services, the emergency department and central sterilization.
Requirements
- You have at least a secondary school leaving certificate or your (specialized) higher education entrance qualification (Fachabitur).
- Interest in medicine, technology and the natural sciences.
- Ability to keep a cool head in stressful situations.
- Empathy to support patients and their relatives as best possible.
- Carefulness, a strong sense of responsibility and good concentration.
