About the role

  • In this position you will work as an HLSK specialist planner (m/f/d) within our STF Energy business unit and take responsibility for planning various large-scale building services projects with a specialization in HLSK (heating, ventilation, sanitation, air conditioning).
  • The projects include public buildings such as train stations, schools/daycare centers, residential buildings, office buildings, as well as food retail stores and hotels.
  • You independently perform a range of calculations for heating/cooling loads, duct networks, potable water, wastewater, stormwater, etc., to determine dimensions for pipes, air velocities and the sizing of components (e.g. valves).
  • You independently create floor plans, schematics and section views.
  • For our building services planning we use digital twins — fully digital replicas of buildings — whose BIM models form the basis of our planning.
  • You maintain close collaboration with our electrical planners, project managers and your HLSK colleagues.
  • You participate in weekly project and status meetings to, for example, jointly update the project board (TGA cockpit).

Requirements

  • You should have professional experience in building services (TGA), e.g. in HLSK specialist planning, technical system planning, technical drafting, planning engineering or a similar role.
  • Ideally you have experience across the different trades (heating, ventilation, sanitary, air conditioning), or you have been specialized in one of them.
  • You have completed a (engineering) degree (Bachelor, Master or Diplom) with a focus on building services/utility engineering or a related field OR you are a state-certified technician or hold a master craftsman certificate in one of the HLSK trades.
  • Through previous work or your training you already have user proficiency in a sector-specific CAD program (e.g. Revit or AutoCAD) and in tendering/quotation software (such as ORCA AVA or similar).
  • To ensure optimal communication among all stakeholders, you need very good German language skills, both spoken and written.
