Your 3-year apprenticeship begins on 01.08.2026 at our Dortmund location
The apprenticeship provides insight into planning, implementing and maintaining IT networks
Your tasks include seamlessly connecting people, machines and data by setting up extensive networks and integrating the latest technologies
WAN connections: You will learn to configure router interfaces and interconnect company sites
Protocols: In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP)
IT security: Encryption of data in transit, e.g. to data centers
Communication: Develop the ability to understand customer needs and adapt configurations accordingly
Troubleshooting: Learn methods for fast diagnostics and problem resolution so customers are back online as quickly as possible

Requirements

A school-leaving certificate with good grades in core subjects (Realschule/technical qualification or Abitur)
A basic understanding of terms such as routers, switches and IP addresses is an advantage
You enjoy developing solutions to solve existing problems
You like working in a team and are open to and interested in different cultures
Excellent German language skills (spoken and written) for smooth communication, and good English skills
