About the role
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for open positions.
- Collaborate with hiring/operations managers to understand staffing needs and create targeted recruitment plans.
- Utilize systems (Indeed, ATS, LinkedIn) to ensure timely recruiting.
- Write compelling job descriptions and post them on relevant job boards, company website, and social media platforms.
- Explore and implement creative and effective ways to advertise job openings.
- Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to actively source and identify potential candidates.
- Build a talent pipeline for current and future staffing needs.
- Review resumes and applications, conduct initial phone screenings, and assess candidate qualifications.
- Coordinate and conduct in-person or virtual interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers in the interview process.
- Ensure a positive and professional experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Communicate with candidates regarding their application status and provide feedback as needed.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand their team dynamics, requirements, and preferences.
- Provide guidance on market trends and salary benchmarks.
- Work with hiring/operation managers to prepare and extend job offers to selected candidates.
- Assist in negotiating terms and conditions, including salary and benefits.
- Collaborate with HR and other relevant departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
- Provide information and support to new employees during the onboarding phase.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source effectiveness.
- Use data to identify areas for improvement and optimize the recruitment process.
- Stay informed about relevant employment laws and ensure compliance with recruiting regulations.
- Adhere to company policies and ethical recruitment practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related field)
- 1+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience required (ABA, healthcare, education, or social services strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated work ethic, reliability, and consistency in ABA hiring processes
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective candidate engagement
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Comfort with technology (ability to learn and adapt to new systems)
- Meticulous attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset
