About the role
- Advising on machine safety questions during the machine concept and design phases
- Preparing and coordinating risk assessments with the responsible engineering teams
- Deriving safety requirements and translating them into technical measures (protection concepts, safety functions, documentation)
- Maintaining risk assessments for standard machines and preparing the required documentation
- Designing and delivering training on machine safety
- Monitoring relevant standards, regulations and best practices in international mechanical engineering and facilitating internal knowledge transfer
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in mechanical engineering or special-purpose machinery, ideally with a focus on machine safety
- Knowledge of Docufy or similar documentation software, SAP and SolidWorks is an advantage
- Practical experience in applying relevant laws, directives and standards in an international environment
- Proven ability in structured analysis, documentation and coordination with development, design and project teams
- Confident presence, strong communication skills and didactic ability for training delivery
- Good German and English skills for international collaboration
