About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administration and Support: Manage critical middleware platforms such as WebSphere, Keycloak, OUD, and BPM.
Technical Operations: Perform deployments, conduct performance tuning, and respond quickly to resolve critical incidents in production environments.
Integration and APIs: Ensure high performance and availability of integration services, APIs (REST/SOAP), and enterprise messaging.
Automation and DevOps: Automate operational routines and build efficient CI/CD pipelines to optimize delivery processes.
Observability: Proactively monitor the health of middleware environments using tools such as Dynatrace and Zabbix.
Governance and Security: Operate in strict compliance with security, audit, and data protection regulations (LGPD), collaborating closely with Infrastructure, DBA, Networking, and Information Security teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience administering application servers (WebSphere, JBoss, and Tomcat) on Linux and Windows environments.
Hands-on experience with Java application architecture (Spring Framework, JPA, Hibernate) and development/testing tools (JUnit, performance diagnostics).
Proficiency in integration and messaging protocols: REST/SOAP APIs, XML/JSON, IBM MQ (MQSeries), and ActiveMQ.
Knowledge of security, authentication, and Single Sign-On (SSO) using Keycloak, OUD, OIDC, and SAML.
Practical experience structuring CI/CD pipelines, scripting automation, and basic knowledge of containers (Kubernetes or OpenShift).
Familiarity with IBM solutions, preferably IBM API Connect.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
Differentials: Prior experience migrating monolithic systems to Kubernetes/OpenShift architectures; proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar; relevant certifications (ITIL, JBoss, OpenShift, WebSphere, or security/LGPD-related certifications such as ISO 27001).
