About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Challenge stakeholders to secure optimized resources and outcomes
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement IT solutions
- Ensure that local solutions are aligned with the overall architecture (global and local)
- Manage projects, ensuring proper breakdown and control of schedule, quality, and cost
- Monitor and report project progress to management and executive-level stakeholders in a consistent and standardized manner
- Ensure appropriate communication with stakeholders (global and local)
- Coordinate internal and third-party resources
- Review client specifications for adherence to capabilities and provide guidance. Offer production alternatives when necessary.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Expertise in project management methodologies (waterfall, agile, and hybrid) - PMP certification is mandatory
- Extensive knowledge of portfolio management practices and performance monitoring methodologies
- Experience managing large-scale projects with cross-functional teams
- Experience in process mapping and process review
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and planning skills
- Ability to reconcile conflicting perspectives when interacting with senior leadership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Conducts positive negotiations, can compromise, handles conflicts, seeks common ground, articulates their own and others' objectives, and stays focused on a positive outcome
- Expertise in setting and managing client expectations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Extensive experience in Information Technology
- Ongoing experience serving in a senior Project Manager role
- Project Management certifications
- MBA in Project Management
- Fluency in Portuguese, French, or English
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Experience in Global Projects
