About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop screens in React using the corporate component library (Vallourec UI);
Maintain, modify, and create new components for the company's Design System (extending tokens, variants, components, documentation/Storybook, and tests);
Ensure reuse, modularization, and standardization of systems, promoting shareable components;
Propose and implement improvements to existing libraries (with autonomy/independence), including refactors to improve performance, accessibility, and developer experience;
Collaborate with the development team to ensure standardization and reuse (code reviews, PRs, guides, and trainings/dojos when necessary);
Participate in meetings with international teams, including UI/UX teams and business areas from other Vallourec plants, and lead technical discussions with teams in France, the USA, Saudi Arabia, China, or Indonesia.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or Front-End Software Engineer;
Proficiency in React;
Advanced experience with TypeScript;
Knowledge of Tailwind CSS;
Experience with automated testing using Jest and Testing Library;
Experience with code versioning using Git;
Experience building and maintaining Design Systems and component libraries;
Knowledge of development best practices, componentization, code reuse, and accessibility;
Ability to work autonomously in defining and implementing technical solutions;
Advanced or fluent English (mandatory) for participation in meetings and frequent interactions with global teams.
