Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor security alerts and events in real time using SIEM/SOAR platforms, with emphasis on Google SecOps (Chronicle SIEM).
Perform initial triage and analysis of security incidents, identify false positives, and escalate critical events.
Execute incident response procedures according to established playbooks.
Document incidents, actions taken, and lessons learned.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure effective incident resolution.
Participate in the continuous improvement of SOC processes and tools.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience in SOC operations or a cybersecurity environment.
Knowledge of network security concepts, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and applications.
Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.
Ability to analyze logs and security events.
Capacity to work well in a team and under pressure.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Hands-on experience with Google SecOps, including Chronicle SIEM and SOAR.
Knowledge of query languages such as YARA-L.
Security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+, GSEC).
Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework for threat detection and analysis.
