About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administer and enhance the Zabbix platform in a production environment;
Configure hosts, items and monitoring for different vendors and technologies;
Create and maintain monitoring templates using protocols such as SNMP, Modbus and OPC;
Develop and maintain low-level discovery (LLD) rules;
Define dependencies between triggers and manage escalated alerts;
Implement automations related to monitoring and event handling;
Support the expansion of monitoring for services and assets within the Industrial Automation infrastructure;
Develop, standardize and evolve operational and executive dashboards in Grafana;
Build indicators and monitoring panels for operations, coordination and management;
Drive continuous improvement of observability and monitoring processes and practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a Technology-related field;
Strong knowledge of Zabbix;
Experience with Grafana;
Experience monitoring infrastructure, networks and services;
Experience with SNMP, Modbus and OPC protocols;
Experience configuring templates, triggers, actions and automations in Zabbix;
Knowledge of alert management and layered monitoring (Layered Monitoring);
Ability to operate in critical production environments.
