About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain web applications using Java, JEE, JSF and other related technologies.
Build responsive user interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Bootstrap.
Implement and optimize database queries using SQL and Oracle.
Integrate systems via messaging, REST, EJB and Web Services.
Participate in Agile development projects using methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
Collaborate with the team using version control tools such as Git and ClearCase.
Develop and automate software tests, including unit and functional tests.
Model relational data and apply design patterns and three-tier architecture.
Participate in continuous integration and continuous delivery using Jenkins, Maven and Nexus.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
Strong technical expertise in Java web development and proven experience in the area.
Experience developing RESTful APIs and using JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery and Bootstrap.
Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Maven and Nexus is desirable.
Familiarity with Agile development principles and practices.
Knowledge of design patterns such as Enterprise Integration Patterns, SOA and Microservices.
Skills in software testing, including automation with JUnit and Selenium WebDriver.
