About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, enhance, and maintain Java applications and APIs, ensuring scalability, performance, and integration with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.
Implement and optimize Java-based solutions, integrating via AWS SDKs and APIs, and support automation of CI/CD processes and cloud application monitoring.
Develop and maintain applications using AWS SDKs and APIs.
Implement and manage serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
Manage data storage with S3 and configure access permissions using IAM.
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline.
Monitor and debug applications using CloudWatch and X-Ray.
Perform DevOps tasks, automation, and operations at scale.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions.
Implement security and compliance best practices throughout all stages of development.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience in developing and maintaining applications on AWS.
Experience with Java and related frameworks.
Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
Hold certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect and AWS Certified Developer – Associate.
Technical knowledge in:
AWS SDKs and APIs.
AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, IAM.
CI/CD (CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline).
Monitoring and debugging (CloudWatch, X-Ray).
Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation).
Ability to work in a team and collaborate across departments.
Good communication skills and the ability to solve problems creatively.
