About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administer, maintain, and evolve Linux production environments (high availability and mission-critical);
Perform advanced troubleshooting of operating systems, networks, and applications;
Manage physical and virtual servers, and HP cloud environments;
Automate operational routines using Shell Script, Python, Ansible, or other automation tools;
Implement and manage monitoring solutions (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.);
Handle critical incidents, ensuring rapid root cause identification;
Apply hardening and security best practices on Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers;
Manage patches, updates, and system lifecycle;
Work closely with development, networking, database, and security teams;
Document technical procedures and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base via GitLab and Azure DevOps.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience administering Linux systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.);
Advanced troubleshooting skills (CPU, memory, I/O, networking, processes);
Experience with virtualization (VMware, KVM, or similar);
Proficiency with the command line and scripting (Bash, Shell Script, and Ansible);
Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing);
Experience with monitoring tools, such as Munin and Zabbix.
