About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the technical reference for the development team;
- Lead and mentor the team, promoting continuous development and knowledge sharing;
- Perform code reviews ensuring quality and best practices;
- Support the PM in technical definition and prioritization of tasks with a focus on business value;
- Anticipate technical risks and propose efficient, scalable solutions;
- Drive the evolution of the applications' architecture;
- Implement and monitor observability and telemetry practices;
- Work on continuous performance and efficiency improvements of systems;
- Actively participate in development when necessary (hands-on);
- Promote agile culture and DevOps practices within the team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related fields;
- Development experience with Java and modern frameworks (Spring Boot);
- Microservices architecture experience;
- Web development (Angular, JSF) and RESTful APIs;
- Integration with WebServices (SOAP/REST), databases and legacy systems (e.g., Mainframe);
- Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes and/or OpenShift);
- DevOps tools (Git, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, Nexus, SonarQube);
- Continuous integration and automated deployment (CI/CD);
- Automated testing (TDD/BDD);
- Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban);
- Cloud (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform).
