About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement and operate network security solutions in cloud environments
- Define and drive network architecture standards (Hub & Spoke, segmentation, Zero Trust)
- Ensure traffic control (ingress/egress), traffic inspection, and environment isolation
- Contribute to governance and the evolution of network and security services in the cloud
- Design and maintain egress control and traffic inspection strategies
- Define and implement DNS architecture as a security component
- Perform advanced network and performance troubleshooting
- Integrate network solutions with identity and access controls
- Support technical decisions related to hybrid connectivity and multi-region architectures
- Work with infrastructure as code and environment automation
- Collaborate with security, cloud, and application teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience with Azure
- Strong experience with cloud networking (VPC/VNet, subnets, peering, routing, private access)
- Advanced knowledge of network security (firewalls, WAF, DDoS protection)
- Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, NAT, DNS)
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting networks in complex environments
- Knowledge of hybrid connectivity (VPN, dedicated connectivity, routing scenarios)
- Experience with DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM)
- Experience with orchestration and automation tools
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or equivalent)
- Experience with firewalls in NVA (Network Virtual Appliance) model
- Experience with egress control and traffic inspection
- Experience designing DNS architecture as a security component
- Ability to lead technical decisions and define standards
- Experience in medium to large enterprise environments
- Experience with multiple cloud providers (AWS and OCI)
- Experience with NVA firewalls, preferably Cisco Secure Firewall
- Knowledge of containers and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures
- Experience with globally distributed environments
- Experience with network observability (logs, flow logs, traffic analytics)
