About the role

  • Lead the product backlog for the Data Lake platform, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Prioritize and drive initiatives for data democratization, self-service analytics, and the delivery of reliable datasets.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, data scientists, and architects to deliver scalable data products.
  • Define and track the data and analytics roadmap, balancing strategic demands and technical platform evolutions.
  • Ensure governance, quality, and reliability of the data available on the platform.
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements for the data squad.
  • Lead product rituals (refinement, planning, reviews, daily) and monitor value-driven metrics.
  • Promote the use of the data platform and foster a data-driven culture across the organization.
  • Work closely with business areas to identify opportunities for advanced analytics.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager for data products, analytics, or digital platforms.
  • Experience working with data squads or data engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).
  • Experience with Data Lake platforms.
  • Understanding of data engineering concepts, pipelines, ETL/ELT.
  • Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Catalog, and Data Quality.
  • Familiarity with BI and analytics tools.
  • Basic knowledge of Machine Learning and Generative AI (LLMs).
  • Experience with APIs and systems integration.
  • Strong prioritization skills and product vision.
  • Excellent communication with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset and focus on business value.
  • Ability to work in complex, multidisciplinary environments.
  • Product mindset and experimentation.
