About the role
- Monitor physical and virtual servers (Windows and Linux)
- Monitor CPU, memory, disk, network and service alerts
- Perform initial incident analysis and escalate when necessary
- Monitor network connectivity and links
- Assist with basic DNS, DHCP and Active Directory issues
- Execute operational routines (service restarts, applying patches)
- Support administration of file and print servers
- Assist with deployments, testing and equipment installation
- Log incidents and changes and keep documentation up to date
- Follow Incident, Problem and Change processes (ITIL)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in IT or related fields
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux
- Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS and DHCP
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP)
- Experience in technical support or NOC (preferred)
- Category B driver's license
