About the role
- Gather technical requirements and size servers (CPU, memory, storage and network).
- Define on-premises, hyperconverged and hybrid infrastructure architectures.
- Prepare technical specifications and descriptive documentation for RFP/RFQ processes.
- Perform technical comparative analysis of vendor proposals.
- Plan capacity planning, high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
- Provide technical support for hardware and software procurement processes.
- Validate BOM (Bill of Materials) and liaise with vendors and integrators.
- Monitor delivery timelines and deployment of infrastructure solutions.
- Log and track requests in the corporate project management system.
- Develop schedules, action plans and manage technical risks.
- Report project and activity status to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Networks or a related field.
- Solid experience with Windows Server (2008 to 2022).
- Administration of AD DS, DNS, DHCP, GPO, NPS, AD CS and WSUS.
- Advanced Active Directory management (replication, trusts and hardening).
- Experience with SCCM, Intune and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (SharePoint Online, Teams and hybrid integrations).
- Experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS and vMotion).
- Experience with Hyper-V Cluster.
- Knowledge of Nutanix environments (AHV and Prism).
- Management of SAN, NAS and iSCSI storage.
- Experience in monitoring and optimizing infrastructure performance.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure (VMs, VNET, NSG, Backup and Monitor).
- Knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, IAM and RDS).
- Experience with workload migrations and hybrid environments.
- Automation using PowerShell.
- Desired certifications: Microsoft, Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP), AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate and ITIL Foundation v4.
