About the role

  • Manage and maintain virtualized environments, especially with VMware and ESXi hosts.
  • Perform installation, upgrades and maintenance of Linux servers, using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Packer.
  • Develop and implement infrastructure automations (Infrastructure as Code – IaC).
  • Manage DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and other container-based environments.
  • Troubleshoot Linux networking and connectivity issues, applying best practices for security and performance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to continuously improve infrastructure and processes.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in Linux systems administration, networking, and automation (minimum 5 years).
  • Advanced knowledge of networking protocols and connectivity solutions in Linux environments.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Shell scripting, or similar.
  • Experience in DevOps environments, including containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD (Jenkins or similar).
  • Familiarity with virtualization solutions such as VMware and ESXi hosts.
  • Knowledge of network and infrastructure security.
  • Bachelor's degree (in progress or completed) in IT, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Linux certifications such as LPIC-2, RHCSA/RHCE, or equivalents (preferred).
  • Certification or experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift (preferred).
  • Experience with high-availability systems and clustering (preferred).
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) (preferred).
