About the role

  • Design and implement robust, scalable CI/CD architectures, leading the adoption of tools such as GitLab and ArgoCD.
  • Define standards and best practices for creating Dockerfiles and managing project dependencies.
  • Administer, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes clusters on OKE (Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes) in production environments.
  • Lead the development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
  • Implement and evolve a comprehensive observability strategy using tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, and Datadog.
  • Integrate advanced security and code-quality tools, such as SonarQube and Veracode, into the development lifecycle.
  • Plan and conduct performance tests using k6, defining success metrics and performance indicators.
  • Lead the deployment of autoscaling tools, such as KEDA, and performance optimizations with Redwolf.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the engineering platform, promoting automation and reducing operational bottlenecks.
  • Mentor and support the team, sharing DevOps, SRE best practices and engineering culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
  • Experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Docker and containers.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure automation and deployment processes.
  • Experience with cloud environments.
  • Experience implementing security and code quality practices within pipelines.
