About the role

  • Develop and maintain procedures, functions, triggers, and packages in PL/SQL, with support from more experienced professionals.
  • Assist in optimizing SQL queries and analyzing performance (e.g., using Explain Plan).
  • Create and adjust data structures such as tables, indexes, views, and cursors, ensuring integrity and efficiency.
  • Develop and execute data migration and maintenance scripts.
  • Collaborate with development teams, DBAs, and architects to follow corporate standards and best practices.
  • Support bug fixes, continuous improvements, and technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of PL/SQL, including:
  • Procedures, functions, triggers, and packages
  • Exception handling
  • Basic SQL and performance concepts, such as use of indexes and basic query analysis.
  • Familiarity with Oracle tools, such as:
  • SQL*Plus
  • SQL Developer
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager
  • Basic knowledge of version control (Git or similar).
  • Currently enrolled in or completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
