About the role
- Execute accounting entries in accordance with current regulations and internal policies.
- Perform reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring consistency of information.
- Analyze account variances, identify inconsistencies and propose corrections.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and related explanatory notes.
- Ensure correct application of BRGAAP and support alignment to IFRS, when applicable.
- Participate in monthly, semi-annual and annual accounting closing processes.
- Provide support for internal and external audits, supplying necessary information and documentation.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Previous experience in accounting, preferably in capitalization companies, insurance or financial services.
- Solid knowledge of Brazilian accounting standards (BRGAAP).
- Experience with journal entries and reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Experience in monthly, semi-annual and annual closing processes.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables and data analysis.
- Analytical mindset, organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of or experience with IFRS.
- Experience supporting internal and external audits.
