About the role

  • Manage complex migration projects of legacy mainframe systems to modern architectures (cloud, distributed, or hybrid).
  • Serve as the focal point between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Plan schedules, scope, budget, risks, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (development, architecture, database, infrastructure, security, vendors).
  • Support technical decisions together with architects and specialists.
  • Ensure project governance (status reports, metrics, steering committees, change management).
  • Manage vendors and technology partners.
  • Drive migration strategies (rehost, refactor, rewrite, replace).
  • Ensure quality, performance, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Plan and oversee testing, user acceptance (UAT), and cutover.
  • Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation.
