About the role
- Database Analysis: Understand customer database structures, tables, keys, relationships, and data dependencies (relational and/or analytical).
- Logical and Technical Mapping: Create structured views of how information flows and connects.
- Impact Identification: Assess client-defined scenarios such as table removal, field modification, system migrations, and integrations.
- Python Development: Build scripts and routines to explore databases, extract metadata, analyze schemas, and automate data discovery and validations.
- Structuring Technical Information: Organize information in a standardized format for consumption by tools, pipelines, or analytics engines.
- Support in Model Construction: Represent catalog, lineage, and data dependencies.
- Collaboration with Technical and Business Teams: Translate scenarios into concrete impacts on data.
Requirements
- Python at an intermediate to advanced level, focused on data analysis, automation, and structural manipulation.
- Solid knowledge of databases and relational modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL (queries, joins, dependency analysis).
- Understanding of keys, constraints, indexes, and normalization.
- Ability to analyze data structures from database schemas (tables, columns, types, relationships, etc.).
- Experience extracting database metadata.
- Ability to read and interpret schemas.
- Automation of structural data analyses.
- Familiarity with concepts such as data lineage, dependencies between tables and systems, and the impact of changes in data environments.
- Experience in corporate environments, data platforms, system integration, or data governance.
