About the role

  • Gather and document industrial system requirements, ensuring solutions meet business needs.
  • Evaluate existing industrial processes and propose solutions that add value and improve operational efficiency.
  • Install and configure PIMS tools, ensuring they are aligned with company objectives.
  • Create interfaces for data collection, optimizing data capture and integrity.
  • Define and configure the hierarchical structure of industrial processes in the Asset Framework (AF).
  • Configure Analyses and Event Frames for monitoring and analyzing relevant events in the industrial process.
  • Develop reports and dashboards that present data clearly and intuitively, facilitating strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and system integration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Proven experience with Aveva PI System or similar industrial data management systems.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as VB, C#, Python, SQL, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with databases and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) techniques.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Certifications related to Aveva PI System or data analysis (desirable).
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar (desirable).
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (desirable).
  • Experience in industrial environments (desirable).
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (desirable).
