About the role
- Create, maintain and optimize data pipelines, including data modeling, data transformation, schemas, metadata and workload management.
- Promote automation through effective metadata management.
- Participate in compliance and governance assurance during data usage, including maintaining the data catalog.
- Ensure proper use of the data architecture defined by the Data Factory team.
- Collaborate with and support data owners and other stakeholders on data-related topics.
- Adhere to and follow security principles, ensuring compliance in the delivery of data.
- Follow global architecture, governance and security guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- Strong experience with various Data Management architectures, primarily in AWS environments.
- Expertise in Data Modeling.
- Ability to design, build and manage data pipelines.
- Experience with messaging technologies, both commercial and open source.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Databricks, Spark, Python, Terraform, SQL, Scala, S3, AWS Glue, AWS Athena, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions; Big Data, Relational Databases.
- Experience with:
- EMR, Gitflow, Agile methodology, DevOps.
- Fluency in English.
