About the role

  • Analyze functional and technical requirements, understanding the needs of the business areas;
  • Develop, maintain and evolve systems in a Mainframe environment;
  • Perform corrective, preventive and evolutionary maintenance on legacy systems;
  • Implement and maintain batch and online routines;
  • Create, tune and optimize SQL queries and DB2 database structures;
  • Create and maintain JCLs;
  • Support critical systems on a 24x7 basis;
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and policies;
  • Participate in unit, integration and acceptance (UAT) testing;
  • Document systems, processes and technical procedures;
  • Work collaboratively with analysts, architects, QA, infrastructure and business teams;
  • Support production deployment processes.

Requirements

  • Mainframe developer with solid experience in COBOL, CICS and DB2;
  • Proven experience with systems that involve registration, validation and processing of alphanumeric CNPJ;
  • Experience in corporate and banking environments will be considered a differential;
  • Analyze functional and technical requirements;
  • Implement efficient and secure solutions;
  • Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance on high-volume transactional applications.
