About the role
- Professional responsible for assessing the current data architecture, identifying gaps, and proposing a target architecture based on best practices, ensuring scalability, security, governance, and performance.
- Responsibilities:
- - Map the current AWS architecture (Glue, EMR, S3, Lambda, MWAA, Secrets Manager, IAM).
- - Analyze the use of Snowflake and integrations with Power BI and Strategy Cloud (MicroStrategy).
- - Identify bottlenecks, risks, performance issues, and governance failures.
- - Gather number of users, data volumes, SLAs, and usage patterns.
- - Propose a recommended architecture for ingestion, ETL/ELT, data lake, data warehouse, and consumption.
- - Define standards for security, access, observability, and cost optimization.
- - Produce a gaps report and a blueprint of the ideal architecture.
