About the role

  • Develop and maintain applications and automations in Python, ensuring quality, scalability, and performance;
  • Support and mentor more junior developers, promoting development best practices and a culture of continuous learning;
  • Participate in technical definitions and architectural decisions;
  • Create and optimize queries and structures for relational and non-relational databases;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development, versioning, and deployment processes;
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure solutions are secure, stable, and well monitored;
  • Support the product and QA teams in delivering high-impact solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Python
  • Proficiency with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar) and knowledge of data modeling, queries, and performance tuning;
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and deployment (Docker, CI/CD, pipelines, cloud);
  • Experience with version control (Git) and software engineering best practices;
  • Ability to diagnose complex issues and propose accurate solutions.
  • Previous experience in technical leadership (Tech Lead, technical reference, or team mentor);
  • Knowledge of English and Spanish;
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture;
  • Experience with monitoring and observability (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.);
  • Experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
