About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take instructions from the StS administrator regarding the daily schedule of jobs
- Attend units for StS inspections and prepare properties for inspections
- Carry out proactive maintenance repairs as required
- Register job progress reports and complete job reports
- Accurately collate photos and videos for each job
- Build a strong working relationship with StS inspectors
- Maintain material and supply stock levels in the vehicle
- Deliver high levels of customer service and handle complaints with empathy and professionalism
- Update information on the PDA system
- Comply with Stef & Philips policies and perform other reasonably required duties
- Work with field-based maintenance multi-traders and office-based coordinators to ensure repairs are completed promptly and effectively
Requirements
What you’ll need- Substantial experience in multi-skilled trade repairs and maintenance, particularly carpentry and plumbing; plastering ideally
- Experience managing vulnerable individuals and HMO properties
- Good communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships
- Full clean UK driver's licence
- Clean Enhanced DBS / Police check
- Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Close attention to detail
- Strong administrative skills
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to meet varying role demands and achieve agreed outcomes
- Knowledge and experience working in temporary and emergency accommodation
- Experience with fire-safety-related work and repairs
- Willingness and ability to travel around Greater London daily
