About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build out and continually develop Azure cloud platforms with a focus on stable and scalable infrastructure components.
Design, implement and maintain Azure infrastructure with Terraform, with particular focus on networking and storage.
Work alongside Databricks workloads, ensuring infrastructure supports robust data engineering and analytics use cases.
Build and maintain pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins to support reliable, repeatable deployments.
Partner closely with design, implementation and operations teams across a mix of hands-on delivery and conceptual development.
Contribute to best practices, internal standards and reusable solution approaches across the wider engineering organisation.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure, particularly networking and storage.
Proven Terraform delivery at scale in production environments.
Strong working experience with Databricks in production.
Practical experience operating CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins.
Track record in cloud platform or infrastructure engineering roles, ideally with exposure to large enterprise programmes.
Professional English plus German at B2 minimum.
