Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead or directly contribute to CRIMS implementations
  • Analyze and evaluate requirements and provide product expertise throughout implementation projects
  • Configure solutions to meet customer business and technical needs
  • Ensure customers are prepared to operate the solution after go-live
  • Provide assistance to Professional Services team members and share best practices
  • Analyze customer requirements to support sales opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations
  • Execute proof-of-concept projects for potential customers
  • Educate customers on CRIMS methodologies and functionality
  • Advise on implementation and operation best practices
  • Monitor customer requirements and identify potential product enhancements
  • Document and communicate product improvements
  • Communicate software defects to Client Support and Product Management
  • Support defect resolution by describing defects and validating fixes
  • Identify and suggest corrections to documentation errors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience in the financial industry at a consultancy or software vendor
  • Experience leading implementation of Front, Middle, or Back Office Investment Management systems
  • Minimum 8 years of experience implementing mission-critical financial solutions
  • Experience implementing a financial system within a bank, hedge fund, asset manager, or wealth management firm
  • Hands-on experience implementing investment management software, preferably an order management and compliance system
  • Substantive expertise in fixed income or equity financial instruments
  • Understanding of investment management or wealth management workflows, derivatives, and FX instruments
  • Understanding of multi-tier technical architectures and relational database structures
  • Strong customer service record and ability to build effective client relationships
  • Ability to convey plans, issues, and concerns clearly, logically, and concisely
  • Ability to influence key internal and external decision makers
  • Customer-driven approach and ability to work within a team environment
  • Strong time management and ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Four-year degree in a business or technical field such as Finance, Mathematical Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Ability to travel to client sites throughout the United States and Canada
  • Ability to work effectively when remote from clients
  • Travel of 30–50% is typical and may exceed that in a given year
  • Familiarity with SQL, FIX, and Crystal Reports is a plus
  • Advanced degree or industry certification such as CFA is a strong plus
