About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Establish Secure Baseline configurations for all cloud services in scope
Ensure deliverables are completed within target timeframes and are consistently of high-quality, documented and support transition of operational activities
Implement preventative and detective cloud security controls
Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments
Supporting incident response and other downstream security operations teams in detection and remediation efforts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Deep expertise in AWS and Azure cloud stack
Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Python
Solid understanding of cloud networking, identity and access management, encryption, secrets management, and security monitoring
14+ years of overall IT experience
At least 8 years in Cloud Engineering/Security/Operations
Certifications like AWS Certified Security or Microsoft Cyber Security Architect or CCSP are highly desirable
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, Engineering, or a related discipline
