About the role
- drives the development of the technology lead business unit strategy on both a multi-year and periodic basis in support of the company’s individual business unit’s long-term strategic plans including those related to products and services
- proven ability to implement cloud business office and fin ops practices
- strong skills across communications, marketing, IT services and products with new and emerging media
- proven ability to produce executive and board level and analyst day style perennation
- deep understanding and proven track record of running a technology business
- design and run engineering excellence programs, internal and external facing
- partner management, manage annual calendar of executive briefings with key strategic partners bringing both technology and business together for co-innovation and business opportunities
- works closely with senior executives in GTS to develop the plans and is responsible for governing and ensuring delivery of the most critical strategic initiatives
- in collaboration with the CIO, plan and coordinate financial planning across all strategic initiatives including the annual corporate budget process, monthly finance reviews, budget, forecast, risks and opportunities
- develops, and directs the execution of operating policies, internal controls and process in support of division objectives
- builds strong relationships with executive teams across all business units
- develops clear communications materials for the division; communicates findings and recommendations to senior management
- lead the performance management process that measures and evaluates progress against GTS shared OKR / KPI’s
- collaborate with the senior management team to improve general management and administrative procedures, operational support services
- provide analytical insights alongside senior management team in support of GTS performance reporting
- relevant regulated financial service expertise, with an understanding of challenges of running a large-scale Technology organization
- exceptional communication skills and relationship management capabilities, able to communicate with all levels of the organization effectively and across Operations and Technology subject matter experts
Requirements
- a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in roles including strategy and planning
- minimum of 10 years of executive management experience including as a people leader
- clear understanding of running technology as a business
- demonstrated experience at a leadership level with IT delivery and operations
- strong Technical expertise in a large complex IT organization
- ability to communicate with external technology partners executive teams
- possess excellent analytical skills experience in analytics and/or reporting
- experience applying analytic methods, interpreting data and communicating results to executive management peers along with recommendations for change and/or transformation
- IT project management with the ability to handle multiple priorities and lead teams either through either influence or direct accountability
- results focused individual who can work effectively with a variety of internal and external constituents
- proven senior executive with a hands-on approach to leadership with both technical and business depth
- shown perfection in analytical, interpersonal, written, and oral presentations skills necessary
- advanced degree or MBA in business administration preferred
