Take technical ownership of all data engineering aspects across on-prem and cloud products
Enable internal customers to make data-driven decisions
Provide high-quality data for internal customers
Work with multiple internally developed distributed systems, portals and data warehouses

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform engineering
Hands-on experience with on-prem and cloud (Azure and AWS) data environments
Experience building and optimizing scalable data pipelines, architectures, data models and data sets (both structured and unstructured)
Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or similar
Advanced scripting skills (Powershell or Python)
Experience building production-grade ETL or ELT pipelines
Experience with platforms like PowerBI, Databricks, Snowflake
Understanding of enterprise infrastructure incl. servers, storage, networking, access control, and deployment environments
Strong experience in working with APIs
Very good communication skills and ability to translate non-technical requirements into robust solutions
Good understanding and proficiency working with SDLC tooling such as GIT, CI/CD pipelines, Jira
