Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop reports using IRD and visualizations using Manage Card Designer (MCD)
Analyze large-scale datasets and contribute to data modelling and data mart design
Implement reporting and visualization solutions using BI suites such as Jasper, WebFocus, Actuate, and eSpreadsheet
Apply strong SQL skills for data analysis, query optimization, and validation
Collaborate with data sourcing teams and product stakeholders to ensure data integrity and alignment with business logic
Act as a subject matter expert for IRD, supporting ad-hoc report creation and issue resolution
Stay current with Big Data platforms, cloud technologies, and tools like Data Bricks, Snowflake, and EDW

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, MIS, Computer Science, or related field
10+ years of experience in data analysis, dashboard design, and business intelligence
Expertise in State Street’s IRD platform in preferred but not required
Proficiency in BI tools such as JasperReports, WebFocus, Actuate, and eSpreadsheet
Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale data warehouse environments
Knowledge of data governance and data quality techniques
Familiarity with Big Data platforms, cloud technologies, Snowflake, and Databricks
Understanding of front, middle, and back-office investment operations and trade lifecycle
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
