About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of full-stack applications supporting critical business capabilities
  • Architect and deliver modern, cloud-native applications leveraging microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems
  • Develop responsive, scalable, and secure front-end solutions using modern web frameworks and user-centric design principles
  • Design and implement high-performance backend services that support real-time transaction processing, data integration, and workflow automation
  • Build reusable components, frameworks, and shared services that accelerate delivery and promote engineering consistency
  • Drive adoption of cloud-native engineering practices, DevSecOps methodologies, and automated software delivery pipelines
  • Collaborate with Product and Business teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Ensure applications meet enterprise standards for security, compliance, resiliency, observability, and operational excellence
  • Lead technical design reviews, architecture discussions, and code quality initiatives across engineering teams
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to engineers while promoting engineering excellence and continuous learning
  • Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Security teams to ensure solutions meet regulatory and audit requirements
  • Support modernization and transformation initiatives, including migration of legacy platforms to cloud-native architectures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 12+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience building enterprise-scale applications across frontend and backend technologies
  • Proven track record designing, developing, and operating highly available, mission-critical systems within large enterprise environments
  • Strong experience building cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Hands-on expertise developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven applications
  • Deep experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and DevSecOps practices
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability patterns, performance optimization, and fault-tolerant architectures
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Experience mentoring engineers and driving engineering best practices across development organizations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance business priorities and technical excellence
  • Strong understanding of wealth management, brokerage, custody, or financial services platforms
