About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage all key project areas, including scope, schedule, risks, issues and mitigation actions
  • Lead workstream engagement, work planning, scoping and budget development in line with the engagement strategy and agreed deliverables
  • Manage communication and relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including Clients and Sponsors
  • Host and facilitate client-facing online meetings, including project status updates, working sessions and issue-resolution discussions
  • Prioritize and manage time effectively to support multiple projects and tasks in parallel
  • Ensure adherence to State Street’s internal project management methodologies, standards and audit/compliance requirements
  • Provide project reporting in line with stakeholder needs and agreed governance requirements
  • Collaborate with other PMO team members on local PMO processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience managing projects, coordinating deliverables, or supporting client-facing initiatives within a professional or financial services environment is required; experience in the funds industry will be considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the financial services and/or funds industry will be considered a significant advantage
  • A degree in business-related studies will be considered an advantage
  • Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging directly with external clients and stakeholders, including leading online project meetings
  • Strong analytical and project team coordination skills, with the ability to support teams working to tight deadlines
  • Fluent English is required
  • Ability to work independently, manage own workload effectively and maintain momentum across multiple priorities
  • Ownership mindset and proactive approach to problem solving, with the ability to drive discussions, challenge constructively and follow matters through to completion
  • Advanced PC literacy, including MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Collaborate and SharePoint
