About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Intermediate understanding of settlements for equities, fixed income, futures and foreign exchange and derivatives
- Process trades
- Confirmation of client trades by phone, email or matching platform
- Interact on a daily basis with prime brokers and client counterparties
- Resolution of trade breaks with client and counterparties
- Resolve fails with prime broker and counterparties
- Liaise with client regarding ad hoc issues, establish and maintain relationships with client and other external parties
- Co-ordinate system enhancements or new requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-4 years of experience
- In depth knowledge of some/all of the following products: Equity, Futures, Options, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives (IRS, CDS, TRS, etc)
- Experience interfacing with security valuation agents like Markit PV, BVAL, ICE Data, JPM Pricing Direct
- Knowledge of trade order flow, security life-cycle events, SWIFT messaging and cash wire processing required.
- Strong verbal, analytical and written communication skills
- Experience with Advent Geneva Platform advantageous
