Manager, Secured Finance
State StreetManager for Financing Solutions Secured Finance overseeing repo and collateral transaction processes. Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate settlements in a global finance environment.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Process repo/reverse repo transactions across confirmations, settlements, and reconciliations
- Validate trade economics, collateral allocations, and netted settlements with clients/CPs
- Perform daily confirmations for collateral and cash providers via email
- Confirm netted settlements and wire instructions before execution
- Monitor onside/offside settlements for collateral and cash providers
- Track incoming/outgoing wires and ensure timely settlement execution
- Support triparty repo, FICC, and bilateral transactions
- Perform end-of-day balancing between Vendor and settlement systems
- Validate DDA balances and ensure zero discrepancy positions
- Execute FICC netting validation and exception tracking
- Identify and escalate settlement failures, pricing issues, or breaks
- Monitor failed trades and communicate to trading/management
- Support TMPG claims tracking and reporting
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced person (minimum 10+ years)
- Deep knowledge of repo, collateral, and settlement operations
- Strong risk & control mindset
- Proven ability to manage global stakeholders
- Lead teams
- Drive process efficiency and operational excellence
- Strong Communication Skills (Written/Verbal)
- MBA, B.Com
- MS Excel and other tools
