About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and define the Cloud Platform Engineering roadmap for the Snowflake data platform, aligning it with broader enterprise and business product strategies.
- Lead Snowflake platform enablement, including architecture standards, best practices, reference designs, and reusable patterns.
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and solution architects to design and review Snowflake-based solutions.
- Engage with clients on as needed basis and internal stakeholders to understand business needs and design Snowflake-based solutions that deliver measurable value.
- Serve as a bridge between Cloud Platform Engineering, Product, Architecture, and Business teams.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 10 years of experience in cloud engineering organization, data platform engineering, or solution architecture roles.
- Proven, hands-on experience with the Snowflake Data Platform in enterprise-scale environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native data architectures.
- Experience influencing or owning platform/product roadmaps in partnership with Product Management.
- Solid background in data engineering concepts, performance optimization, security, and governance.
